Accessibility statement
Everyone should be able to find the phone number. Here is what this site does about that.
Our commitment
MacGregor Sprinkler wants every visitor, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control, to be able to read about the services and reach us. This site is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA as its target.
What we have done
- Every page reads and navigates without JavaScript, and in a sensible order without styles. The quote form uses JavaScript to hand your request to your own text-message or email app; with JavaScript off it opens your email app instead, and every phone, text and email link works either way.
- All controls are reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link on every page.
- Text meets a minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio and control boundaries meet 3:1; no information is conveyed by color alone.
- Text can be resized to 200% and the layout reflows to a 320-pixel-wide viewport without horizontal scrolling.
- Images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative icons are hidden from assistive technology. The service-area map has a text description and the town list is repeated in plain text.
- Form fields have visible labels, required fields are marked in text as well as symbol, and errors and success messages are announced.
- Motion is limited to a short fade on scroll and is disabled entirely when the system “reduce motion” setting is on.
- Phone numbers are live links so a tap or a screen-reader command places the call.
Conformance status
This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is the W3C’s term for a site where some content may not yet fully meet the standard. We use it because the testing below, while thorough, cannot prove full conformance, and because the limitations listed further down are real.
How we tested
Automated testing. On 6 October 2026 we ran axe-core, the open-source accessibility engine, against all 22 pages of this site, the error page included, in a real browser at four viewport widths: 320, 390, 768 and 1280 pixels, with every expandable section opened. Every rule the engine has was switched on, including the ones it leaves off by default, such as target size and label in name. Across those 88 page and width combinations it found zero violations of the WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA rules it is able to check. We also measured the rendered width of every page at 320 pixels and at 200% zoom, and no page forces sideways scrolling.
Checked in a browser. That the skip link is the first keyboard stop and moves focus to the main content, that every keyboard stop on the home page is visible and focus reaches the footer, that the opening animation and scroll fades switch off when reduced motion is requested, and that every page keeps its content with JavaScript turned off.
Not yet done. An audit by an independent third party, and testing with a range of screen readers and the people who use them every day.
Known limitations
Photographs of completed work are described in alt text but cannot convey every detail of a repair. If a photo matters to your decision, call and Colby will describe it. The interactive map is decorative and duplicated by text; it is not a routing tool. The quote form relies on your phone or computer having a text-message or email app set up; if it does not, call (904) 528-1543. Body text meets the AA contrast ratio of 4.5:1 but not the stricter AAA ratio of 7:1 in every place.
